The Aug 11 inspection took place at the Sungai Buloh R&R area (north-bound). Motorists were given goodie bags and mini festive hampers after having their car tyres checked.

The free tyre inspection has been one of the company’s annual corporate social responsibility events since 2006.

The tyre company also said its ‘One Tyre, One Good Deed’ campaign is under way.

During  the  campaign  period,  Bridgestone  pledged  to  contribute  RM1  towards  a  tree  planting  initiative  for every Ecopia, Turanza and B-Series tyre sold.

The proceeds will facilitate the rehabilitation efforts by Global Environment Centre at selected forest reserves in Malaysia.
