KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) has been awarded the “Nissan Champion Distributor” by its principal, Nissan Motor Co, Ltd. (Japan) for the third consecutive year.
The certificate endorsed by Nissan executive vice president Hiroto Saikawa was the official acknowledgment to ETCM for achieving "excellent performance and demonstrating outstanding operational improvements" in 2011.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings Bhd executive deputy chairman Datuk Tan Heng Chew and ETCM executive director Datuk Dr Ang Bon Beng received the certificate from Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co Ltd president Toru Hasegawa and Nissan Motor Asia Pacific Co, Ltd senior vice president Steve Ardianto.
ETCM is one of the Nissan worldwide distributors presented with the “2011 Nissan Champion Distributor” acknowledgement among Nissan National Sales Companies evaluated in the General Overseas Market.
A Nissan committee was formed to evaluate candidates from around the world.
The judging criteria included performance, processes and management.
