Stephanie picked as Carnival Queen

KUALA LUMPUR: Stephanie Kuan, 24, grabbed the Carnival Queen title after she was adjudged the best among 12 ladies vying for the crown at the Star Motor Carnival last night.

Stephanie took home a tiara and RM2,000.

In second place was Nur Rabeatul, 22, and third place was won by Vivian Chew, 19.

The other title contenders were Angeline Chong, 21; Angie Lim, 21; Jamy Chin, 18; Jesnny Mol, 20; Lauren Choo, 16; May Lau, 18; Yii Yii Tan, 19; Susan Khong, 20; and Georgina Wee, 21.

They were judged on their posing, appearance, presence and personality.

The girls made their appearances at the venue on Sunday as they were introduced to carnival visitors on stage for the first time.

Hair and make-up for the contestants were provided by Michael & Guys Hair Salons and Academy.
