Sweet car deals for potential buyers

KUALA LUMPUR: Automotive brands are throwing in many special offers to “sweeten” the deal for potential car buyers at The Star Motor Carnival at Bukit Jalil Stadium.

Topping the list is Chery Automobile (Malaysia) which launched its My Chery, My Condo slogan contest at the carnival yesterday.

Anyone buying a Chery can enter the contest which ends on Feb 15, 2013 and stands to win the grand prize of a RM400,000 luxury condominium in Lagoon Suites, Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam.

The Chery has a pretty interesting offer.
Honda Malaysia, meanwhile, is offering the Insight hybrid at a low loan interest rate from 1.99% per annum or RM4,000 cash back and the Freed (Grade S) multi-purpose vehicle at 2.22% p.a. or RM2,000 cash back.

Perodua is offering its Myvi Elegance with a RM2,500 discount and its Viva Elite with a discount of RM2,000 while UMW Toyota Motor is giving away RM250 Tesco and RM500 Parkson vouchers to buyers of all models except the 86 and Vios J models.

Hyundai dealer Advant Speed Sdn Bhd is giving vouchers worth RM6,000 to the first two buyers of its i10 model at the carnival.

Some RM200,000 worth of lucky draw prizes and giveaways including Petronas petrol gift cards, tablet computers, GPS navigators and MotoGP tickets are also up for grabs.

The carnival also promises to be a day out for the entire family with magic performances in the evening, clowns, a beauty pageant, a classic car display, a modified car competition as well as drift car shows and public rides.

Petronas Dagangan is the main sponsor and admission is free.
