Three held over theft of royalty's vintage bike
JOHOR BARU: Three men have been detained over the theft of a vintage motorcycle belonging to the Johor royal family.
It is learnt that the Royal Enfield motorcycle was earlier sent to an outlet for repairs when it was reported stolen a few days ago. Palace officials then lodged a police report.
Police arrested the men, who are in their 40s, in a series of raids in Sri Alam since Wednesday.
The suspects are believed to be trying to dispose of the motorcycle to several vintage motorcycle collectors when they were caught.
The Royal Enfield is the world’s oldest motorcycle brand still in production.
