The four-door sedan is selling at RM72,888 (on-the-road with insurance) and comes loaded with features for a value-for-money package.
Marketed as a B-segment car, the locally assembled 207 is roughly the size of a Honda City or Toyota Vios and is equipped with 1.6-litre engine with 110bhp and 149Nm of torque mated to a four-speed adaptive Tiptronic automatic transmission.
Fuel consumption is estimated at 6.1-litres per 100km under a mixed driving cycle.
Features include anti-lock braking system, electronic brake distribution, emergency brake assist, two smart airbags for the front passengers - which inflate in relation to the intensity of the impact - a rolling code immobiliser, “follow-me-home” functionality for the front headlights and auto-hazard warning lights which are activated upon sudden and heavy breaking.
Also included are two ISOFIX attachment points at the rear for child safety seats along with the front passenger airbag that can be deactivated to safely fit a child seat on the front passenger seat.
Other equipment include 15-inch wheels, premium audio capabilities with an MP3/WMA CD player with six speakers, USB support and Bluetooth mobile handsfree connectivity.
