Fresh design, fresh images

LONDON: Here are new images of Škoda VisionD concept, first seen at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The new form offers a clear indication of the design direction for all future Škoda cars from 2012.

The model is inspired by classic form and design; the long wheelbase and short overhangs are a prerequisite for a desirable automotive architecture.

The car of Octavia dimensions is designed to have a strong, sporty look that conveys simplicity and a youthful appearance.

This is a styling exercise for now and no details on engine and transmission have emerged as yet. The concept sports a new badge though that has a more prominent logo, chrome and a new shade of green.

Škoda has been in the top 10 of the J.D. Power Survey of Customer Satisfaction in the past 18 years.
