Ralliart Edition of Lancer Sportback 2.4 launched

KUALA LUMPUR: Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia, the importer and distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Malaysia, has launched the Lancer Sportback RA Edition today.

Based on the fully imported Lancer Sportback 2.4 model, the exclusive RA Edition is limited to just 100 units.

The RA Edition takes the sporty package of the Lancer Sportback and adds on enhancements from Ralliart, the brand name for all Mitsubishi motor-sports related products.

Made specially for Ralliart enthusiasts, the Lancer Sportback RA edition features an exclusive accessory package that includes sporty design full Nappa leather seats, 18-inch gun metal wheels, rear diffuser, Ralliart scuff plates, body art stickers, reverse camera, Ralliart front bumper foil, Ralliart front grille badge, Ralliart fog lamp rings, and Ralliart emblem.

It uses the same 2.4-litre four-cylinder MIVEC engine with 170bhp/226Nm and INVECS-III Continuously Variable Transmission powertrain system found in the regular Lancer Sportback 2.4,  

Other equipment include Active Stability Control with Traction Control, Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Brake Assist, dual-stage SRS airbags and Mitsubishi Motors’ rigid RISE body structure.

Priced at RM137,980 on-the-road with insurance and fully imported from Japan, the Lancer Sportback RA Edition is available in three colours – Lightning Blue, White Solid and Black Mica.

Owners get to enjoy a three-year/100,000 km warranty as well as Mitsubishi’s two-year free maintenance package.
