KUALA LUMPUR: The popular Peugeot 308 five-door hatchback, known for a sporting an aggressive feline look, will be getting a facelift soon.
Going by a teaser advertisement from local Peugeot distributor Nasim Sdn Bhd, the refreshed 308 will get a more elegant bumper and grille, headlights with rounded edges and LED daytime running lights.
This facelift model was first unveiled at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
Though no date is mentioned about the launch, the teaser indicated the on-the-road price of the 308 Turbo at RM121,888, which is RM3,000 more than the current variant on sale.
The new model is also offered with a five year/unlimited mileage warranty, the standard item for all new Peugeot cars sold in Malaysia.
The 308 was locally launched in 2009 and is available in the 1.6-litre VTi and 1.6-litre Turbo variants. A six-speed automatic adaptive transmission with Tiptronic and sports mode also comes standard.
